Goa is place were you can sit and relax, that is the best job I always do at home?. To sit on the beach shore and enjoy the sunset is awesome. However, if you are a person who wants to explore places then this is not the right choice. Bangalore is a busy bee, which is why my dad likes it. The energy keeps flowing throughout the day. You will never have time to relax when you enter the city. The lights are on throughout the day and it keeps you hyperactive. Yes, it is a best place for businessperson rather than a tourist. Shimla the queen of hills was my mom’s option. Its scenic beauty amidst the mountains is awesome. The regular snowfall keeps you tight between your blankets. You have quite a few places around to enjoy. It is an excellent place to enjoy, rejoice and to shop. Finally, we all accepted my mom’s choice. Yes, Mothers are never wrong?.

Vacation time -cntd
Tuesday, June 30th, 2009Vacation time
Monday, June 29th, 2009It was time for my family to take a break. The work pressure in this hot summer has made all of us tired and we terribly wanted a vacation. We wanted to take a trip to some place that was cool and where we could enjoy the most. Each of us had our own option about the trip. I wanted to go to goa, my dad wanted to go to Bangalore and my mom’s option was shimla. We were stubborn in our opinion and nobody was ready to give up. Since someone has to sacrifice, we thought after analyzing the three places we would decide upon one and it was a mutual agreement between us to accept the place that we finally decide.
Chocolate mania
Saturday, June 27th, 2009Is there any kid who does not like chocolates? The answer is no. Every human being likes chocolates. Even I am not an exception, neither my dad is. We use to have long fights to share the chocolates. I literally go crazy for chocolates. If somebody gives me a chocolate and asks me a favor, I would definitely do that. Cadbury’s dairy milk is one chocolate I love the most. I know too much of chocolate is not good for anybody, but still I enjoy eating it. One should not eat too many chocolates, as it would make you hyperactive. So beware kids. Eat chocolate or candy for its taste and do not take it as your food. Hence you will have to get an appoint to meet your dentist. So enjoy chocolating and maintain your limits.
Dad and Me:)
Thursday, June 25th, 2009I remember one incident. I guess it happened when I was in sixth. I brought home one corrected test paper. I wrongly brought two papers with me. One was my paper and the other was my friend’s paper. My friend got less mark in the test. My father after returning from the office, without noticing the name, saw my friends mark. He thought it was my mark and started to beat me for getting such a low mark. When he realized that, it was not my mark and that he had beat me for a wrong reason he started crying for the mistake he did. I then realized how much love he had on me. He is my support throughout my life. Is will always be my perfect role model. Thanks dad, for all that, you have done for me and that you are going to do for meJ.
Dad and Me
Wednesday, June 24th, 2009Since I was the only child to my parents, I never got a chance to fight or play with my siblings. There were days when I used to long for those special moments. It was at that time my father used to play the perfect dad. He used to play with me, fight with me and do everything to keep me happy. I still remember the days when we use to fight for chocolatesJ. Ha, he was my typical friend. We spent lots of time together laughing, crying, shouting and playing. My dad was a perfectionist in whatever he did. He wanted me to be the same. I learnt a lot about life from my dad.
my extra curicullar activities
Friday, June 12th, 2009I have given equal importance to extracurricular activities such as elocution, quizzes and other competitions. I was the coordinator for the Paper Presentation event in my college state level technical symposium Pinnacle ‘08’. I won the First place in Chess competition held in my college. I was also the class representative for 3 semesters, which rendered in me the management skills along with the satisfaction of leading the class successfully during my tenure. My participation in programs such as the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) and their events has enhanced my leadership skills. . I have attended summer internship programs conducted by “Southern Railways”, India, enhanced my knowledge in the field of Computer Networking.
My institutional capacity building
Wednesday, June 10th, 2009Thousands of engineers graduate from India every year. But there are only few Universities that find its place in the world rankings. I learnt that Sweden has got some of the top and renowned universities in the world. I am confident that the facilities, guidance and inspiration your University provides combined with the excellent faculty and research opportunities makes it an ideal place for me to embark upon my postgraduate studies. I am confident that in return for this I can make a perennial contribution to this field and to your institution. From the knowledge I gain there, I might be able to do a great deal of work in my home country. I would emphasize to impart the methods of education and the expertise in my country.
A scholarship for my higher studies
Monday, June 8th, 2009Right from my childhood, I always had a penchant towards computers and computer science. I performed well in my academics and I got a good aggregate in my bachelor’s degree and I believe that is how I got the admission in Uppsala University. I understand that a graduate education could offer me the challenge of intellect and personal satisfaction. I have heard about the renowned Swedish Universities and their scholarship schemes. Pursuing my post Graduation studies in Sweden would improve my knowledge and practical experience, especially because I have very little research possibilities in my country. But the cost of living in Sweden is very high when compared to India. Thus, a scholarship can help me in a long way to bear the relatively high expenses associated especially with my accommodation. This can help me to stay focused and concentrate fully on my academics rather than worrying about my living expenses and the part time jobs.
